A birds-eye view of Northern Ireland

In this week’s blog featuring images from Northern Ireland we’re showcasing the fascinating work of Ciaran May & his company Birdseye Kite Photography.

Birdseye Kite Photography is based in Enniskillen in Co Fermanagh and for the last four years he has been using Kites to lift DSLR cameras into the air.  This style of Aerial Photography was used during the early stages of WW1 but has now largely been forgotten about.

Ciaran works with a wide range of clients including Tourism Ireland, National Trust, Dublin City Council and many other businesses and individuals who require unique print quality Aerial Photography.  They photograph the beautiful landscapes of Ireland which they are head over heels in love with.   And who can blame them!
