To know about Gorgeous Cottages Ireland you have to ask the MD, Christina Brion, a few questions.
So why Northern Ireland and why Gorgeous Cottages?
Well, I’m from Northern Ireland originally. Born and bred in rural mid-Ulster I spent my childhood tearing about the Sperrin Mountains, Gortin Glen and ‘the Port’ as we call it. I left Northern Ireland to go to Leeds Uni at 18 and for one reason and another found myself living in Yorkshire many years later. Gorgeous Cottages Yorkshire was launched in 2012 as a result of seeing a gap in the market, a niche luxury holiday cottage website advertising only the very best self-catering accommodation with a real focus on the area as well as the cottage. Gorgeous Cottages has gone from strength to strength and we have been delighted with the response from customers, owners and the press. Gorgeous Cottages Ireland is my new baby, and one very dear to my heart. Through-out the launch and success of Gorgeous Cottages I always had a feeling that I could bring this concept to Ireland, and now I feel the time is absolutely right.
So why is Gorgeous Cottages different to any other cottage company?
I wanted to create something quite different to the average listing site. It’s not just that all of our properties are top quality, it’s the fact that we genuinely want to promote the location, the people, Irish life, as well as the luxury cottages we advertise. I want to make sure when you’re searching for your self-catering holiday in Ireland everyone has all the information possible to help them make a decision. I want you to start getting excited about your holiday before you get here. So reading our Gorgeous Cottage Location Guides should help you to love Ireland as much as I do.
How do we go about making a booking?
We don’t manage bookings and instead provide full contact details for the Owners, so you can rest assured you are booking direct with the supplier. We think this works better for everyone.
What do you do with feedback?
We want our guests to tell us how it is, so we invite comments on our blog and we will add feedback to the cottage pages as well. We only add actual visitor’s comments so people looking at our pages can trust the feedback is genuine. No suspicious posts from the management here! We also encourage guests to add reviews, pictures and comments on our Facebook page.
